BIOGRAPHY

Deborah Chenault-Green has reinvented her life many times over. At age forty-eight, Deborah saw her life spiraling into the abyss. Growing up on the mean streets of Detroit's infamous 12th Street, amidst the pimps, preachers, prostitutes, drug dealers, addicts, hustlers and business owners, she quickly learned the art of survival. After enduring the horrors of childhood poverty, abuse, drug dependency and twenty years in a domestically violent marriage, Deborah woke up and began to write her story. Now a published author, singer, poet, actress, acting coach, motivator, mother of four, grandmother of fourteen and great grandmother of one, she has turned her life around. Deborah currently works with Parables Entertainment LLC, producers of quality stage plays, such as, "Affairs," "Unequally Yoked," and "Boss Lady." All of these productions received distribution and can be seen on Amazon Prime and Tubi TV. Since starting with the company in 2008, Deborah has served as an Actor, Administrator, Co-Director, Acting Coach, Casting Director and Talent Coordinator. As an actress, Deborah has worked on numerous stage, film, and television projects. Her commercial and voice over work are well known and she is often sought after for her unique voice and charismatic presence on camera. As a writer, Deborah has worked as Senior Staff Writer for "Saved Magazine" and as a Freelance Writer with, "Shop Talk Magazine." In April 2008, Ms. Chenault-Green published her first book, "Back 2/1: I Invite You Into My Serenity" and in June 2019, her second book, "I AM! Say it, See it, Believe it, Receive it," was published. Deborah has a third book, "Dancing to the Rhythm of Life," which will soon be ready for publication. Deborah has immersed herself in the world of film making, book publication and the arts in general.

Like a Phoenix rising out of the ashes of a tormented past, Deborah has risen, triumphant.
